YOUR FIRST FIVE
YOUR FIRST five classes
$65
The music’s up. Your instructor knows your name. The class is moving and, for approximately three minutes, you may have no idea which spring everyone is talking about.
You’ll get there.
Five classes. Fourteen days. Enough time to learn the room, try the different sides of 224 and find the classes you’ll want to come back to.
WELCOME TO THE ROOM.
YOUR NEXT CLASS IS IN HERE.

BEFORE WE TURN IT ALL THE WAY UP.
A few things to know before the springs start moving and the music goes up.
-
Come a little early for your first class. We’ll show you the room, introduce you to the reformer and explain the springs before everyone starts moving.
-
They keep your feet secure while the carriage is moving. Bring your own or pick up a pair at the studio. Bare feet are not invited.
-
Put everything else away for the next little while. This part of the day is yours.
-
Classes can get warm, fast and sweaty. Bring a bottle. Your future self will appreciate the organisation.
-
Injuries, pregnancy, movement restrictions or anything else your body has going on—tell your instructor before class. The more we know, the better we can coach you.

Five classes to learn the room, get comfortable on the reformer and meet the different sides of 224.
classes 1 + 2
FIND YOUR FEET
Start with Signature.
Meet the reformer, learn the foundations and discover that changing a spring is considerably easier once somebody has shown you.
ClassES 3 + 4
FIND YOUR PACE
Now you have options.
Book another Signature to keep building confidence, or try Motion for a slower, mobility-led side of the studio.
Already comfortable with reformer and strength training? Load may be an option too. Ask your instructor and we’ll point you in the right direction.
CLass 5
TURN IT UP. IF YOU WANT.
Feeling good? Try something harder.
Move into Elevate for more pace and complexity, or Load if you have the reformer and strength experience for it.
Not ready? Book Signature or Motion again. There is no prize for progressing the fastest. The point is to find the classes that make you want to come back.
EASY TO FIND. HARD TO MISS.
We’re on street level in Gungahlin Town Centre across from Australia post and between Two Before Ten and Cypher Brewing.
Look for our entrance along the tram line — not on Hinder Street.
There’s street parking along hinder street, more parking underneath Coles across the road, or catch the light rail - it passes right by our front door.

YOU’RE PROBABLY WONDERING.

-
Signature. It teaches you the reformer, the foundations and the way we move at 224 without expecting you to know anything first.
Book it twice during your First Five. The second class is usually where everything starts clicking.
-
There is no such thing.
You don’t get fit before starting. You start, choose the layer that works for you and build from there. We’ll coach you through it.
-
You don’t have to.
Every class begins with a base movement, then builds. Stay there, take the next option or take a break. Nobody wins Pilates by rushing through it badly.
-
For a few minutes, maybe (but we ALL started there). You’re doing something new.
We’ll show you the springs, straps, carriage and where everything goes. Nobody arrives knowing how to operate a reformer through instinct alone.
-
Start with Signature or Motion.
Elevate is intermediate and moves at a faster pace. Load is intermediate–advanced and recommended for people with reformer and strength-training experience. Intensity is our most advanced class.
If you’re unsure, ask us. We’ll choose your next move.
-
Sometimes. In a good way.
Some classes are fast and sweaty. Some use heavy springs and dumbbells. Others are slower, controlled and mobility-led. Your First Five helps you find the kind of hard you actually enjoy.
-
Absolutely not. Mobility is something we work on—not something you need to arrive with.
-
No. Strength, control and mobility are useful for everybody.
224 is for men, women, runners, lifters, Pilates regulars and people who are still wondering which way the reformer faces.
-
Anything you can move comfortably in. An old tee, matching set, footy shorts - we don’t mind.
Grip socks are required. Bring your own or pick up a pair at the studio.
-
Grip socks, water and yourself. Your phone can have the class off.
-
Speak with your doctor or physio first. Once you’ve been cleared to exercise, contact us before booking so we can help you choose an appropriate class.
Always tell your instructor when you arrive. Surprises are fun. Injury surprises are not.
-
Usually, but the right class depends on your stage of pregnancy and medical clearance.
Tell us before booking so we can guide you properly. During weeks 15–27, medical clearance is required. From 28 weeks, cleared clients attend Nest rather than our standard classes.
-
Two or three classes a week is a great place to begin. It’s frequent enough for movements to become familiar and for you to notice progress without reorganising your entire life.
Your First Five lasts 14 days, so you have time to settle in and try different classes.
-
They probably know a few people. Soon, you will too.
There are only ten reformers in the room. Your instructor will know your name, notice when you’re new and help you feel part of things quickly.
-
Not before you know whether you like us.
Start with five classes for $65 and use them within 14 days. After that, we’ll help you find the option that fits how often you want to come. No dramatic sales presentation.
