Studio 224 guidelines

where movement is for everyone.

Respect & inclusion

Studio 224 is an inclusive space. We welcome all people — regardless of gender, identity, body type, background, ability, or experience level.

We expect all members to move through the studio with respect for one another and our instructors. Behaviour that is discriminatory, dismissive, or that compromises the comfort or safety of others will not be tolerated.

To protect the integrity of our community, Studio 224 reserves the right to remove any individual from class or the studio, and to suspend or cancel memberships or class packs where necessary. These decisions are made with care and are final.

Pilates socks

For hygiene and safety, Pilates socks are required for all classes. If you forget your socks, Studio 224 socks are available for purchase in-studio.

Arrival & late policy

Please arrive on time to allow classes to begin smoothly and without disruption. A five-minute grace period applies.

  • If you arrive within five minutes of the class start time, you may join the class.

  • After five minutes, the studio door will be locked and you will be marked as a no-show.

This policy supports safety, flow, and respect for both instructors and fellow members.

Cancellations & no-shows

Classes may be cancelled without charge when cancelled more than six hours prior to the scheduled start time.

  • For class pack holders, the credit will be returned to your account.

  • Cancellations within six hours will incur a $10 late cancellation fee, charged to the card on file. Class pack credits will be retained.

  • No-shows will incur a $15 no-show fee, and class credits will not be returned.

Unlimited members receive one complimentary late cancellation or no-show per billing cycle.

Phones & personal items

Phones may be kept with you during class but must be on silent and used discreetly if required. Personal items should be stored neatly in designated areas to keep walkways clear and the space calm and uncluttered.

Instructor guidance & safety

Please follow instructor cues and safety guidance at all times.

We ask that you inform your instructor before class of any injuries, pregnancy or postnatal status, or anything that may affect your movement — even if you’re simply having an off day. This allows us to support you appropriately.

Pregnancy & class suitability

Not all classes are suitable during pregnancy. Please review class descriptions carefully before booking.

If you’re unsure which class is appropriate — or if you’ve booked into a class that isn’t pregnancy-appropriate — simply reach out. We’re always happy to help guide you to the right option.
